Insect Day at the Arboretum, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 14 at the Louisiana State Arboretum at Chicot State Park in Ville Platte.

There will also be an evening  screening of the film “Queen of the Sun,” a documentary on the disappearance of bees.
